Lifeless Awoken explores the idea of the personification of destruction, taking form as Apollyon, whose purpose is to destroy mankind. After humanity's abusive relation to earth's natural resources, the impending doom that awaits us arises and lays waste to what is destroying the earth. The song explores both parties perspective, switching from Apollyon's perspective to humanity's perspective, where they describe the feeling of their downfall.
